Current Job: Student
Recreation/Entertainment: One of his favourite past times is writing long letters to his family. He doesn't even mind if they write back, he just loves writing. He has a diary and a novel in the works.
Strengths/Skills: He's skilled at brewing Potions; this could always come in handy one day. DADA, Charms and Transfig.
Habits: While intelligent, he often has difficulty motivating himself to work, especially when the topic itself doesn't interest him. He's a master of procrastination and usually ends up doing his homework at the breakfast table. He likes sleeping with people, not sex, just in the same bed as them. Despite having a blood disorder on a couple of occasions Michael has cut himself deliberately, just to feel something other than stressed.
Personal Politics: Michael doesn't broadcast his membership of the DA, for obvious reasons, but he believes that what they are preparing to fight for is right. As a member of the DA, he's well aware that the time may come to defend himself and the ones he loves. He's more than prepared to do so. Currently however, he is still a student and has little influence in the wider world.
AU History: Michael never dated Ginny or Cho.

.extra stuff.
History: Born into a middle class family, Michael never wanted for anything despite having three older brothers. Naturally some things were passed down to him, but the family could always afford new things when needed. Clothes and toys were not the only things Michael inherited. His father has Von Willebrand's disease; which he passed on to both Daniel and Michael. There is no cure; but Mike takes a potion that assists his blood to clot. Even with this medication, he bruises far easier than a normal, healthy person and is prone to nosebleeds if he gets colds. His mother stopped him from being too reckless as a child and he is always careful in practical lessons.

Hogwarts couldn't come soon enough for Michael; having heard the stories from his older brothers about pranks, lessons and feasts. He was sorted into Ravenclaw, as had all his family before him and did well in all of his lessons. Michael supports the Ravenclaw team wholeheartedly, even though he does wish that he could be out there playing too. Michael wasn't really sure what to make of his third year at all; Dementors are definitely creatures he never wants to encounter again.

His fourth year brought even more excitement and though Michael didn't dream of entering the tournament himself; he watched the tasks with interest and enjoyed interacting with the students from other schools, eventually. The events of the closing ceremony were a horrid shock and at first Michael found it difficult to believe Harry's story about Voldemort's return. However over the holidays as more and more strange happenings started to occur, Michael started to believe Harry's words more than those of the Prophet. When Umbridge was instated as Headmistress, he joined Dumbledore's Army along with many of his friends. Realising that the time would come when he would need to know practical defense a lot sooner than he hoped.

Sixth year passed fairly uneventfully for him, concentrating on the subjects he continued for NEWT level being the most important thing on his radar. He found it easy to squash thoughts of the outside world when he was safe inside Hogwarts' walls; though this lead to him over thinking more personal things. His brother Jude was definitely gay and the others definitely straight; but Michael had no idea what he was. He could talk about girls and sound convincing, but he wasn't sure exactly what he felt towards them. Sex wasn't a subject he thought of often and he wasn't completely convinced he even liked the idea of it. If possible, Michael has become a lot quieter over the past year because he is desperately trying to work himself out.

This year he has been studying as hard as any Ravenclaw; having only kept up the subjects he is really fascinated by.
